Vietnamese real estate tycoon Truong My Lan was sentenced to death today for her role in a $12 billion fraud case. Her trial was the result of a nationwide campaign against corruption. Truong My Lan is the founder and former chairwoman of massive real estate developer Van Thinh Phat Holdings Group.
